What Is Kalonji Shampoo?

Kalonji shampoo is a hair care product infused with black seed (Nigella sativa) extract. Kalonji (also called black cumin or black caraway) has been used for centuries in Tibb-e-Nabawi (Prophetic Medicine) and traditional systems like Unani and Ayurveda for promoting healthy hair and scalp.


Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم’s guidance about kalonji (الحبةالسوداء)

Habbat Sauda’a, (Kalonji) cure for all diseases:-

1. Hazrat Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه says that Rasool Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said, Habbat Sauda’a (الحبةالسوداء) (kalonji) has cure for all diseases except death & Habbat Sauda’a are Shuwniz (الشونيز).  b:Reference Ibn Ma-jah: 3573; Book no. 31; In English volume no. 4 Book 31, Hadees no 3447.
2. Narrated by Usman Bin Abdul Malik that he heard Salim Bin Abdullah رضي الله عنه narrated from his father that Rasool Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said “You make yourself use Habbat Sauda’a (الحبةالسوداء) regularly so that there is cure for all diseases in it except death”.  : Reference Ibn Ma-jah: 3574; Book no. 31; In English volume no. 4 Book 31, Hadees no 3448.
3. Hazrat Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه  says that Nabi صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said there is no disease in which Habbat Sauda’a (الحبةالسوداء) do not gives cure except saam & saam is death.  : Reference Tirmizi: 2176; Book No. 28; In English volume no. 4; Book 2, Hadees no 2041.

"hHow to Use Kalonji Shampoo (Step-by-Step)
 1. Wet Your Hair Thoroughly

 • Pour a small amount (depending on hair length) into your palm.
 • Gently massage it into your scalp and hair roots using your fingertips.
 • Work the lather through the entire length of your hair.
 3. Massage Gently (1–2 minutes)
 • Focus on the scalp, not just the hair strands.
 • Helps improve blood circulation and absorb kalonji’s active ingredients.
 4. Leave for 1–2 Minutes (Optional)
 • For better results, allow the shampoo to sit for a couple of minutes before rinsing.
 5. Rinse Thoroughly
 • Use cool or room temperature water to close the cuticles and make hair shiny.
 6. Repeat if Needed
 • If hair is very oily or dirty, repeat the process once more.
 7. Follow with Conditioner (Optional)
 • Use a mild herbal or black seed conditioner if your hair feels dry.
